Sorcerer’s/Philosopher’s Stone Global Movie Watch & Live Show

It has been five wonderful years since we embarked on the journey of a global re-read of the Harry Potter series. We have had ten hosts discuss 199 chapters, four special interest bonus episodes, sixteen topics (so far!), and seven films. It is time to round out our journey by going back to where we started: Harry’s first year at Hogwarts.

The global movie watch and live show that follow have always been a favorite of ours – and our listeners – so we decided that there was no better time than to rewind the clock and FINALLY watch Harry Potter and Sorcerer’s/Philosopher’s Stone with all of you. They’ll work just as before, with a bit of added nostalgia thrown in…and maybe an announcement or two.

Join us on USTREAM in two weeks, Saturday, April 22nd for this exciting event! We’ll begin the movie screening party at 10:00 AM Eastern Time, in which you will be able to chat with not only the podcast hosts & fans from all around the world – all while watching the movie at the exact same time. Immediately following the movie, Alohomora! will be hosting a live podcast! During this time together, we’ll be chatting about the movie, analyzing the movie adaptation from the book, closing up some discussion points on Harry’s first year at school, and of course, taking your calls!
